The Director of Nursing Education manages the academic effectiveness, student satisfaction and efficient operation of all activities of the department. The Director of Nursing Education will be responsible for meeting or exceeding all regulations and standards of the state, the accrediting commission, and the program accrediting boards and bodies as well as Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. GENERAL AND STATE QUALIFICATIONS
• Meet all qualifications as set forth by the Board of Nursing in the state of employment
• Meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications
• Current, Unencumbered, Registered Nursing license for the state of employment
• Bachelors in Nursing required; Masters or Doctorate preferred
• Minimum of 3 years clinical practical experience
• Actively employed in nursing in the past 5 years, preferably in administration or teaching
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience in pre-licensure nursing education program
