SUMMARY
The Financial Aid Disbursement Coordinator is responsible for completing the routine ongoing processing of reviewing and approving Title IV disbursements for assigned campuses. This position ensures timeliness of disbursement processing and compliance with all applicable Federal, State, accrediting, and corporate standards. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Pull daily reports of Title IV funds due for assigned campuses
• Accurately determine funds that are eligible, batch these funds, and approve funds for payment • Works closely with campus Financial Aid departments to clear pending files so payment can be approved timely
• Remain current with applicable Federal, State and accrediting agency regulations and Concorde policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
• 3 years Financial Aid experience required
• Must not currently be in default on any Federal Student Loans or go into default on any Federal Student Loans while employed
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, accurate and highly organized
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel
• Campus Nexus experience preferred
