Job Description

SUMMARY

The purpose of the Radiologic Technology Clinical Coordinator is to acquire clinical sites for the educational experiences of the Radiologic Technology students and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the local healthcare community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assure regular communications with all clinical affiliates.
  • Obtain new clinical affiliates as required by the program.
  • Document visits to clinical sites on a regularly scheduled basis.
  • Represent Concorde at local Programmatic Association meetings and other appropriate community functions, as assigned by the Campus President.
  • Attend all program graduation ceremonies.
  • Assist in resolving clinical issues as they arise.
  • Assist the Program Director with any assigned projects.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification or registration credential.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Radiologic Technology. 
  • Must have a minimum of one years of experience as an instructor in a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program.
  • Must have a Baccalaureate degree or higher.
  • Current State license.
  • Proficient in curriculum design, program administration, evaluation, instruction, and counseling.
  • Must be capable of teaching both the Clinical and Didactic aspects of the program.
  • Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.

OTHER COMMENTS/REQUIREMENTS

The Clinical Coordinator must have knowledge and clinical experience in the Radiologic Technology field. The Clinical Coordinator must have problem solving skills, with critical thinking as a major component of his/her ability. Organizational skills, time management skills, and skills in computer applications are also required. Finally, the Clinical Coordinator must have demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively with health care facilities.
